From the Collection of Michael Aronoff: Martin Mills 24 Year-Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Japanese Export. This bourbon is from the original Heaven Hill distillery, pre-fire, and was distilled in 1974 however it was bottled post-fire in Feb, 1999. Many have speculated that the ultra old barrels in this bottling were somehow altered or affected by the intense temperatures and flames during the 1996 fire which added to the lore of the bottling. This was a one-time, batched release done exclusively for the Japanese market and this is bottle number 2054 of only 4,284 bottles that were produced. 750ml. Cardboard box in good condition, exhibits some minor shelf wear with some color losses along corners. Informational card present and in excellent condition and residing inside the box. Wax seal intact, has what appears to be a small crack the circumnavigates the cork stopper. Printed labels excellent. Distilled in Kentucky and bottled by Martin Mills Distilling Co., Bardstown, Kentucky.
